Lemon Cream Salmon
By James Rotanson
Seafood · Dinner · Medium · 15 min · 11 ingredients
Tender, pan-seared salmon fillets smothered in a rich, velvety lemon garlic cream sauce with fresh herbs.
Ingredients
- 4 pieces Salmon fillets
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 0.5 cup Chicken broth
- 0.75 cup Heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp Lemon zest
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 0.25 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
- to taste Salt and black pepper
Steps
- Season the salmon fillets generously with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through, then transfer to a plate and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Bring to a gentle simmer and let the liquid reduce and thickenslightly, about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Return the salmon to the skillet, spoon the sauce over the fillets, and simmer for 1 to 2 minutes until heated through. Garnish with fresh parsley.
