Pearl Couscous with Onion and Garlic

A simple and fluffy pearl couscous base sautéed with aromatics for extra flavor.
Ingredients
- 150 g pearl couscous
- 1 onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 150 ml water
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
Steps
- Finely dice the onion and mince the garlic cloves.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Add the pearl couscous to the pan and fry together with the aromatics until the pearls become slightly translucent.
- Add the water and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Once boiling, turn the heat to low, cover with a lid, and simmer for 10-12 minutes.
- Turn off the heat, remove the lid, and fluff the couscous by mixing it around.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
