Classic Moist Banana Bread

A simple and foolproof recipe for tender, flavorful banana bread that is perfect for using up overripe bananas.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- pinch salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4x8 inchloaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth and stir in the melted butter.
- Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and stir in.
- Add the flour and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50 to 60minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
